Champions of Peace

In September 2014, a group of women leaders from around the world came to the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as part of the United States State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. At the Law School the women met with members of the faculty, many of whom write in the area of gender discrimination. Building upon those discussions, the Wiener-Rogers Law Library determined to develop an online resource that would collect, preserve, and share documents, reports, articles, and other publications related to the topics discussed at the September meetings. We hope that this resource will encourage continuing ties among the Boyd School of Law faculty and the women who visited our campus this September, and we encourage those women leaders to contribute to this resource by sending documents and other publications to the Library for inclusion in this resource. Please forward documents to Jeanne Frazier Price, Director of the Law Library and Professor of Law at jeanne.price@unlv.edu.
