Abstract

Paycheck CheckUp: Double check your withholding amount! Did you work only part of the year, more than one job in a year, are a two-income family, or do you usually itemize your deductions, check with the IRS to see if your monthly income tax withholdings are enough to cover your tax liability. New tax laws mean potentially different tax liabilities. Do not get stuck with an unexpected tax bill paying when you prepare and file your taxes. The IRS website has a handy too to make sure your withholding amount is above your tax liability at www.IRS.gov/withholding.
