After the Nevada Supreme Court published its opinion in Holguin v. City of Henderson, 141 Nev., Adv. Op. 53, 578 P.3d 965 (2025), the Nevada Legislature amended the at-issue provisions of NRS 617.455, which took effect on November 29, 2025. The following February, the Nevada Supreme Court withdrew its opinion in Holguin via an unpublished order in Holguin v. City of Henderson, 2026 Nev. Unpub. LEXIS 148, 2026 WL 491678 (2026).
