The editors of the Nevada Law Journal select certain Nevada Supreme Court opinions of significant interest to the legal community for commentary. These commentaries include a summary of the court’s majority, minority or dissenting opinions, as well as an issue and disposition section that summarizes the tensions presented in the case. The Nevada Law Journal staff provides authorities cited by the court and related sources referenced by the court in its decision. The commentaries also describe the state of the law before and after the opinion, and present unanswered questions and a survey of the law in other jurisdictions, if appropriate.
