Abstract
Dependent Care Tax Credit: If you pay for care of your children under 13 or other dependents who are unable to care for themselves and live with you, then you may be eligible to take the Dependent Care Tax Credit. This credit allows a refund of up to 25-35% of the first $3,000 of care expenses for one dependent and $6,000 for two or more dependents. Or, if your employer offers dependent care expenses through a qualified reimbursement plan, then you may exclude up to $5,000 of these benefits.
