Abstract
The Child Tax Credit: The Child Tax Credit has been increased starting in 2018. The Child Tax Credit is now $2,000. However, the credit is limited to $1,400 for certain low-income taxpayers and the qualifying child must have a Social Security Number for her parents to claim the credit.
